The body is a double-bound, hollow maple body with beautiful flames on the maple areas. A dark rosewood fingerboard with pearled dot inlays, and three-on-a-strip Kluson deluxe tuner in excellent condition. The neck is made of Mahogany with cream side-dots. We are more than happy to email you high resolution photos upon request. The frets are original and in good shape with plenty of life left in them and the neck is straight as well. It is very resonant and lively, with some nice snap too. But have no fear! This one sounds great even before you plug it in. Did I already say that this one is super-crazy-ridiculously-rare? It would be very disappointing if it turned out to be a dud. As with a lot of vintage guitars at one point it had been affixed with another set of tuners so there are some additional holes on the back of the headstock. There are also some weather checking marks throughout and marks on each side of the headstock from. The metallic paint has oxidized some so it has a bit of texture to it now. You don't buy a flashy metallic red guitar and just let it sit around so there are some paint chips and other marks here and there. Mahogany neck, a nice rosewood fingerboard, tune-o-matic bridge, Kluson Deluxe tuners, and independent tone and volume controls for each pickup. Have mercy! Add into the equasion two vintage P-90s and what more could you ever want in a guitar? You know the classic Gibson specs: fully hollow maple body. If that wasn't enough it's also fitted with a Bigsby bar. 1967 Gibson ES-125 There are sexy guitars and there's this amazing ES-125 in a super rare sparkling burgundy metallic finish! It's a class all it's own.
